HOW DO TRAINING DAYS WORK?

Each week different members volunteer to help our Director of Resources with birds. Volunteers will pick up birds, along with take payment and hand out birds during the training day.

We have four training fields. Members sign up for training fields on a first-come, first-serve basis.

When it’s your turn to train, let other members know if you need help. We all help one another with planting birds, shooting, or advice.

Due to insurance regulations, only members can shoot birds.

Everyone is training at different levels from puppy introduction to NAVHDA invitational.

Typically there is more of a wait in the morning than in the afternoon.

WHAT TIME DO TRAINING DAYS START?

Training days start at 8 am.

CAN I ATTEND A TRAINING DAY BEFORE JOINING?

Yes. We encourage anyone who is interested in joining to attend a training and ask questions. We recommend you not bring your dog if you are only attending to observe.

CAN I BRING A CHECK AND JOIN ON THE TRAINING DAYS?

We would prefer you send your check and membership application to our treasurer listed on this page: SEMI NAVHDA Membership.

WILL YOU HELP ME TRAIN MY DOG?
