Casey is a dedicated and accomplished single Weimaraner parent of two (Sage & Trigger), with 3 years of experience in NAVHDA.

He has a deep passion for versatile hunting dogs (of all breeds). He has been actively involved by helping on training days, and events, volunteering for DNR clean-up days, NAVHDA tests, and organizing the Quail Shoot to raise funds to improve the training grounds.

Outside of SEMI NAVHDA; If not in the woods hunting with his dogs, You will find him enjoying a nice ice-cold beer with a fishing rod in his hands.

Damian Taulbee ran his first versatile hunting dog in a NAVHDA test in 2003. He is an active volunteer in NAVHDA tests, often serving as a committee member, and is a standing judge at the annual Quail Shoot.

Damian lives in Harrison Township with his wife, Christine, and their Deutsch Drahthaar, Heinri.

If you don't see him on the weekend, he might be on Lake St. Clair or the Au Sable River.

Lauren has been a member of NAVHDA since 2022 when she decided she finally wanted to test her own dogs.

She lives in Fowlerville with her son, 4 GWPs, 2 other dogs and various 4-H animals.

When she isn't working or learning with her wires she can usually be found at AKC conformation shows making left-handed circles.

Rick has been an active member of SEMI NAVHDA since 2005 and was previously Treasurer of SEMI NAVHDA from 2012 to 2017. As a retired mechanical engineer, Rick brings a data and fact-based perspective to the position and is very competent with MS Excel, which he uses for recording all of our financial information. He has been SEMI NAVHDA's Delegate to the HFTGA from 2019 to the present.

As Treasurer, he is responsible for:

• Maintaining the financial records of the chapter, maintaining bank accounts, and receiving and distributing funds as approved by the EC

• Preparation of financial statements, as needed

• Receiving and processing membership applications and payments and updating the chapter’s mailing list

As Director of Testing Dale’s responsibility is to facilitate, delegate and organize all aspects of each test the chapter hosts. Dale joined NAVDHA in 2018 at the behest of a breeder when he purchased a large munsterlander puppy. He grew up hunting over llewellin setters and has been hunting grouse for over 30 years. Going on seven years with SEMI NAVHDA, he has volunteered at almost any level he can think of for the chapter. “This is a really good group of people we have in our membership and it shows in the work people put in.”

Chuck is responsible for having birds and equipment available for all of the club’s activities tests and training days. He has been a NAVHDA member since 1992. In addition, he has been the club’s Test Director multiple times in years past. Chuck has had several German Shorthaired Pointers that he has trained in all levels of NAVHDA, AKC testing and for the use of wild bird hunting.

As Director of Promotions, Natalie’s primary responsibility is handling merchandise sales for the club. This includes ordering the inventory and managing the online store as well as providing merchandise for sale at all club events. In addition, Natalie makes sure we have bird bags and crates available for members to buy. Lastly, she is always working on ways to help promote and improve SEMI NAVHDA, and has helped lead many of the events our chapter has hosted over the last few years. This is my seventh year as a NAVHDA member and my fourth year as part of the SEMI EC.

She originally joined along with her husband at the request of their breeder. What keeps her coming back each year, weekend after weekend, is the bond with her dogs (Large Munsterlanders) that training maintains, and the amazing camaraderie between our members. Natalie has been married to Dale Bolyard, our Director of Testing, for nearly 20 years, and for most of that time, they have had Llewellin Setters. After getting their first LM in 2018, they joined SEMI NAVHDA and have been addicted ever since! She became part of the Executive Committee in 2021 as Director of Promotions and added their second LM in 2022. When not selling merch, she can often be found tagging along in the field snapping photos, although more recently has enjoyed taking on more handling responsibility. Natalie and her husband have tested dogs at NA and UT, and now hope to someday experience the IT level, too!
